Films on the Beach 2014
Films on the Beach is a project inspired by New York’s Films on the Green Festival. In 2008 the Cultural Services of the French Embassy based in New York City organized its first edition of Films on the Green in collaboration with the City of New York Parks & Recreation. The festival was an immediate success providing residents of the big apple free access to French films throughout the summer.
The Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Miami, in partnership with Miami Beach Arts in the Parks, is proud to announce the launch of its very own Miami Beach version. For the first edition of Films on the Beach, the festival will screen two vintage classics of French cinema, in collaboration with Tigertail Production's FLA-FRA Festival, followed by two recent French films, both starring feline characters.
Exostage @ Miami Beach SoundScape
All four screenings will take place at New Worls Symphony SoundScape’s 700-square-foot projection located at 500 17 Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Films will be shown in French with English subtitles.
The event is open to the general public.
