On February 23, 2017, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and FACE Foundation announced the recipient for the 2016 French Voices Grand Prize: Daewoo by François Bon. Originally published in French by Fayard in 2004, the English translation by Youna Kwak will be released by Diálogos Books in 2019.

From December 12th to December 17th, Paris welcomed the French-American Digital Lab, a program for startups in cultural and creative industries created by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York and co-produced by Business France and the Institut français. The program has been open for two years to startups in France wishing to promote their projects abroad. Its debut in the context of the Tandem Paris-New York 2016 last year enabled 4 young American entrepreneurs to present and advertise their innovative ventures on the Parisian tech and cultural scene.
