Chicago

The French Cultural Service office in Chicago develops cultural and educational projects and initiatives. Under the direction of the French Ambassador to the United States and the Cultural Advisor in New York, its mandate is to promote and sustain high-spirited exchanges between the most promising French and American artists, writers, thinkers and educators in the jurisdiction: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Programs, projects or initiatives benefitting from the support of the Cultural Office, in conjunction with the Embassy of France in the United States are usually also supported by the non-profit partner FACE and Institut Francais.
